RBR50 Satellites not showing up on App

I have had the RBR50 for several years. I have 3 satellites in addition to the router. Last night, my internet seemed to crash. Not sure if it was ATT or the router but it came back up after a few minutes of down time. When I open the app, I can only see my router in the network map. It does not show any of the satellites - see attached image. Everything seems to be connected. I can see all of my attached devices if I tap the router or go to Device Manager in the app. Speeds are good - I have about 50 deviuces connected and do not seem to have any issues. I am on the latest (I think) firmware 2.5.1.16. I have tried to check for a firmware update on the app but keep getting a message saying there was a problem checking firmware update. I reinstalled the app on my phone, restarted my phone. I installed the app on a different phone with the same results/issues. I have rebooted the router, I have unplugged the router and all satellites, but still have the same issue. Earlier in the day, I was able to see all satellites in my phone app. I can see them if I log into the router on a PC. Any help is greatly appreciated as I have no idea where to go next.

  • If they're showing up through the online web interface its a good sign.

But if you really want to see them in the app, you might need to reset the router/satellites back to factory.

Or i wouldn't worry about it after everything working fine other than the app display.

Thanks - that is my thought now as I really do not want to set everything back up again and since everything is working fine but....I keep checking the app to see if things have changed as it is killing me that I cannot see the network map even though there is no real reason or need to see it - just bugs the heck out of me as to why it worked and now does not. If something changes and functionality becomes affected I guess I will need to do a factory reset.

I noticed this same thing recently. The Orbi satellites (I have 2) no longer show up on the network map within the Orbi mobile app (I am on iOS). The satellites are connected fine and functioning normal. I am guessing some update within the app probably is causing it...and I also do not intend to set everything back to factory defaults just to test if that fixes it or not.
