More detail would be helpful. When power goes out, every device stops. If the outage lasts long enough, even devices connected to UPS eventually lose power and die. When the power comes back, everything in the house "wakes up", and customers have the fun of remembering how to set the time on their ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, alarm clocks, etc. etc.
Every time this happens, my Spectrum modem, Orbi router, and all the rest of my electronics "come back to life." It sounds like the AT&T Fios unit is working. In what way is the Orbi unit not working?
- Is the LED next to the power connection green?
- When the power button is turned off and then back on again, does the "ring LED" at the top go through the normal cycle? (see page 9 of the user manual: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBK50/Orbi_UM_EN.pdf
Normally, that ring LED pulses white for about two full minutes before eventually going out. - Does the Orbi WiFi signal appear as an available network?
- Is there a device with an Ethernet port that can be connected to one of the Ethernet ports on the back of the router?
