Will the RBS40V-200 speaker/WiFi extender work with my Orbi router RBR50?

Yes. Check the product data sheet:

"Works with ANY router, but is optimized for the Orbi system."
Notice there are two different firmware loads:
- Extender mode
- Orbi mode

Yes. The RBS40V-v2 will work with the RBR50
