RBR50v2 self-signed certificate rejected

I've been able to use Chrome finally, first importing the router certificate as trusted and using the URL with hostname like https://orbilogin.net... With ip address I still get the error. I've swtiched off the option to access the router with HTTPS only in RBR50, and Safari is able to arrive to login screen now with the ip address. But after login, I'm redirected to https:// so error again in Safari. I've a router restart pending to see if the 'access router with HTTPS only' option requires it.
