RBR50V2 won't allow my Blink 2 module to connect

I have worked with Blink to replace my Module 2 twice. My original Module disconnected in the middle of the night and I haven't been able to connect the newer two that Blink sent me since then. Blink has been great about replacing them.

I added the new Blink Module to the allowed list, MAC address and all but it still won't connect. What do I do?

It might be useful to eliminate Access Control from the picture in order to diagnose the issue.

(If the Blink module will not connect when Access Control is not enabled, then Access Control cannot be a factor.)

While I enjoy mild paranoia, I have never become enamored of Access Control.

        • It's such a bother.  When friends or relatives come over and ask, "What's your WiFi?" do I really want to reply, "Wait.  I have to run upstairs and authorize your device to connect?"  I buy gizmos all the time to see how they work.  Do I really want to "allow" each one separately (and then remove the authorization when it goes into my "Box of Stuff"?)
        • The internet says it will take about 4 billion years for someone to crack my WiFi password.  (Won't prevent the NSA, but really?)
        • Most of the forum posts about Access Control reflect issues and unhappiness.

At what part of the connection process does it fail?

I eliminated the access control. Nope, it didn't work. I am about ready to take this whole blink setup and throw it in the trash. I have never been so frustrated with a piece of technology! Any other ideas?

What does this blink thing do?

I ask because a search for "blink" is useless. Too many false positives.

Search - NETGEAR Communities – blink

Add something to narrow down the search and you might get somewhere
