RBS50 LAN disconnect

Hi Everyone,

 

I was hoping to get some help with my Orbi Satellite where every so often any device attached on the network ports get disconnected (PC & PS4).  Any devices connected to the wifi still works. I read that disabling UPnP would help but that was not the case.  I don't mess with the configurations and it is basically setup as if it was out of the box.  Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

    Try an ERASE on the satellite, re-move the LAN devices, then set up then re-add the satellite via wireless to the Orbi router. Then reconnect the devices and test to see if the problems still happen. Ensure your using good quality LAN cables, CAT6 recommended.

     

    If it still happens, you may need to have NG relace the unit. Ask for a RMA.

      Thank you very much.  I'll give it a try and let you know.  I bought my Orbi in Jan '18.  Do you know if they would still replace my device?

        Maybe. You'll need to contact NG support and ask about this.
