RBS50 Satellite Wired Connection Issues
Hello
I'm running an RBR50 with Firmware 2.7.4.24 downstairs, with a RBS50 in the office upstairs. I then have four wired devices connected to this, my PC, my work laptop docking station, my wife's PC and our printer.
By large, I've been extremely happy with it, though every so often it would go through a phase of disconnecting us, but reconnecting a few seconds later. Usually but certainly not exclusively when more than one of us was connected at the same time.
This evening, the connection dropped to our PCs as described above; however this time the wired connection hasn't returned. I've restarted both devices a few times, without joy. WiFi connection to the Satellite seems stable.
Connecting to the Routers admin page, it says the Satellite is connected fine with a backhaul status of good. Looking at the Orbi app, the network map shows the Satellite as offline. Clicking on the Satellite it shows the devices that are connected via WiFi, on the details table it lists the Connection Type as Offline. It did show this as online a short while ago.
Could anyone please give me on some advice on how to rectify the issue?
Thanks
Jamie

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Your behind on FW:
Has to be manually updated if you choose to do this.

Thanks for the quick reply. Our home is around 1700ft, the rbr is located centrally downstairs and the RBS is upstairs in our office. It's less than 30ft distance but goes through several brick walls. Other than the occasional blip as I mentioned it worked well for a few years. The connection light when restarting is blue.
I will try upgrading the firmware tomorrow as it's late here now. - FieldAspirant
Sorry I missed the bit about the channel configurations. Is this them?
Region Europe 2.4G Channel Auto ( 9(P) + 13(S) ) 2.4G Mode Up to 400 Mbps 5G Channel 36(P)+40+44+48 5G Mode Up to 866.7 Mbps As for neighbours, both sides are quite elderly, probably with the standard routers provided by our Telecom companies. I'd estimate they'd be about 12m/40ft from my own.
Thanks again

I've upgraded the firmware on both the router and the satellite but no change unfortunately.
Unrelated to the above, above I reported that the Satellite showed as online via the web portal but offline on the app. Before upgrading I noticed that the App is also showing the satellite as online rather than offline. I'm guessing when I looked before it was in the process of rebooting after my various attempt restart attempts.
Thanks
