RBS50 Satelllite won't update to v2.7.5.4
My two RBS50 Satellites are currently running v2.7.4.24. I've attempted to upgrade the satellites to v2.7.5.4 by using both the Automatic and the Manual methods.
When I try to update the firmware through the Automatic download, it does not recognize that there is an update available for v.2.7.4.24.
When I try to manually update the firmware to v2.7.5.4, it responds with "The firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product." I am using the RBS50-V2.7.5.4.img file that was extracted from the RBS50-V2.7.5.4.zip file downloaded from https://kb.netgear.com/000065539/RBR50-RBS50-Firmware-Version-2-7-5-4
Please advise.
Greg
Be sure your using a MS-Edge browser or Firefox.
Be sure your unpacking the .zip file for the RBS firmware to reveal the actual FW file (.chk) that gets sent to the RBS using the RBS web page. Log into the RBS web pages using there IP address given by the RBR.

Thanks. On previous attempts, it would prompt me to login to the satellite before the upload. After reading your message, I realized that it didn't do that this time. Browsing directly to the satellites IP address and uploading the IMG file directly to the satellite solved the problem.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
