Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router (RBR50)
I’ve been having problems the last few weeks with my Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router (RBR50) and reconnecting after power failure. I received a, “weak security” message and attempted to upstate the firmware, which I’m not sure worked. After several attempts to reconnect my Orbi, I did a manurfacture’s reset and it doesn’t recognize the Orbi network and I’m getting a, “Not Trusted” message issued by router login.net. I am at a standstill. Any suggestions, please?Orbi CBR40 flashing white light but working (can't test speed)
I have a CBR40 that has started to flash white slowly. It DOES have internet access. I have tried the following: - checked firmware - Firmware Version V2.5.0.28_1.0.8 which Netgear says is up to date. Satellite - V2.5.1.16 - is as well - hard and soft reboot several times over a few days - moved the power to various outlets - held reset down 15 seconds to get amber and then yellow light when I try the Speed Test in the app is pings at 0.0 but can't get a speed. any help is appreciated.RBK43S firmware update seems to have crashed everything
Haven’t had a problem in two years. Have tired everything. Got to point of trying to download firmware from netgeat.com and using TFTP. Extract files and “disk image… is corrupt”. This happens on a PC with windows as well as a Mac. Of course, I can’t get any live netgear support as all that has “expired. I have searched and read other posts with similar issues, some from 2017, but I am stuck after HOURS of troubleshooting. This is frustrating. I have a gazillion smart devices, not to mention all my tv is streaming. Help!Auto or manual update of my Orbi RBR/RBS50 firmware
There's a firmware update available for my Orbi system. It's available for download but not for auto update. I would like to install it but have never done a manual update of this system so I'm a bit wary of doing it. Is a manual update of this Orbi system as reliable and problem free as auto update has been, or should I wait for it to come through for auto update and how long may that take?
