RBS50v2 bricked. Power LED flashing red
Hi, I recently bought a Orbi RBK52 V2 on an auction, basically brand new. On set-up, router and one of the two satellites are working fine. However the second satellite’s power LED is flashing red. Just from googling it seems to be a corrupted firmware issue. Is there any way to fix this? (Flashing firmware etc). Only seen methods to flash firmware for the router.
Thanks

you can try using tftp to recover it.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through of it being done on an extender. should be similar on the satellite.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

a thread of someone who did it on a satellite

- ImoHen65AspirantThanks for the suggestions! I will try them today. I’ve tried the YouTube extender steps Last night, issue I ran into is I don’t pick up a connection when I connect Ethernet on laptop to the LAN ports on satellite. Not sure why, a red cross symbol reflects below the Ethernet port symbol in the Ethernet network Settings on laptop which doesn’t appear if I connect it to one of the LAN ports on the router as a connection is established there. But will try again and all the the other suggestions you posted.
Thanks.- plemansGuru - Experienced UserGood luck!
