RBS50Y isn't working anymore after 17 months of purchase

I'm in Indonesia

I bought Orbi Outdoor Satellite RBS50Y in July 2019 with a year of warranty, I place it on the balcony under the roof.

 

it completly disconnected from the router since yesterday (17 months of usage). I had tried power cycle, move it closer to the router, reset to factory default, resync and still didn't work. The default SSID didn't even appear.. There was only white light turning solid,then blinking and then solid again then blinking again, and so on..

 

Then I contaced the local authrized distributor, they said there might be a failure in radio signal transmission, i asked them how can i repair this (i dont mind paying since my warranty is already off). Sadly, there's nothing they can do, since they don't accept repairment service, only product replacement for products under warranty. Now it's only functioning as a lamp

  • You might try opening the case to see if there is water inside.  Although it has been sheltered from rain, there could be high humidity that has caused condensation inside? (Have "nothing to lose" since it is totally out of warranty.)
