RBS50Yv2

I have a RBS50Yv2 about four years old set up in extender mode with a Starlink version 1 router.

Has been working great had power outages  and the extender would restart and connect with saved settings. Now if the  power goes off the extender resets to setup mode and has to be setup and synced to the Starlink to function. Do these have an internal battery that saves the settings or is their another issue I'm missing.

I've not opened one, so no idea on whether there might be an internal battery.  But it seems unlikely.  It could also be failing flash memory.

You might try a hardware reset.

There isn't an internal battery. I'd start with reinstalling the extender firmware to it and then doing a factory reset.
