Which specific Wemo smart plug is this? I found the Wemo Mini, model F7C063 and discovered:
- Although I was able to connect the Wemo app to the plug, I was not able to get it set up.
- The Wemo app (at least with the R7C063) shows every WiFi access point, apparently wanting to select one by BSSID (goofy). but more importantly
- Wemo is dropping support for this plug on Jan 31, 2026. It goes from the "Box of Stuff" to the Electronics Recycle Bin.
(I notice that Amazon is still selling these plugs. Almost feel sorry for anyone who buys one now only to find it quits working in a month)
Although Wemo smart plugs are priced WAY too high compared to products like KASA which are SO EASY to set up and work GREAT, I'd like to get one like yours to see if it will connect to my Orbi system.
