ReadyCLOUD for Orbi yet? It's 2022, Please?!?!?!

I would really love to connect my USB hard drive to the USB port of my Orbi router to act as a network attached storage (NAS). Netgear, can you PLEASE enable this for the Orbi community or at least explain WHY you cannot?  It's a feature on the Nighthawk line and it appears the Orbi line has the specs to support?  Pretty Pretty Please?  It's the year 2022... and unlocking this feature sure would be nice!

    When Orbi first came out (2016) my understanding is that there were vague promises of using the USB port to attach a hard drive similar to the way Nighthawk routers do.  Alas, that never happened and since Netgear has removed the USB port from newer products (even the RBR50v2), there seems to be zero chance that they will go back to the original products and incorporate that feature.

     

    Not what you want to hear.  Sorry.

     

    *p.s. The original Orbi included a Bluetooth radio as well, which has never been used for anything.
