Replacement Orbi Satellite
I had cause to replace my Orbi Satellite as it had failed. This was replaced under warranty. I was fortunate as the warranty only had 3 weeks to run.
When I came to register the replacement satellite I noticed it had already been done but had been given a purchase date of the original satellite. In other words the warranty on this replacement satellite expires in 3 weeks time.
This does not seem correct as I would have expected the replacement to have a current purchase date and hence two year warranty period.
Does anybody know who I could contact about this?
Thank you.

Fortunate indeed. You can plead your case with one of the forum moderators by sending a private message.
I have never looked closely at the "fine print" of the Netgear warranty policy. MY reading is that they promised a one year warranty. In three weeks, that one year is over.
Would have to agree with CrimpOn
You buy a device with a 1 year warranty. yes it was replaced so in theory the new one should last another year but the warranty isn't transferable.
Similar to a car. Your warranty could be 60K. Even if a part/motor is replaced in the car, it doesn't give you another 60K.
