RMR50 connecting to Ring Camera

I have several Ring products connected to my home wifi network, which is a mesh Orbi RBR50. For some reason I cannot connect just one spotlight camera to the network. I explained the issue to Ring and they sent me a Ring Chime range extender, and it still didn't work. Ring then sent me a brand new camera and that doesn't work either. The camera is located about 5 ft. away from the router, through a window. This leads me to believe that it must be a 2.4g/5g issue, but the Orbi should automatically recognize that the device requires 2.4g. I've tried several times with no luck. Any assistance is appreciated.

Try this. Turn OFF all RBS. Then turn the power output of the 5Ghz radio to 25% on the RBR. Be sure that 20/40 MHz Coexistence enabled. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings. Then connect your mobile device at a distance from the RBR to ensure the mobile phone keeps connected to the 2.4Ghz radio. After you get the IoT device connected, re-configure the system back to where it was.
