Satellite is slow
Hi
I have an RBR50 and RBS50
The router works fine and get fast upload/download for the service I paid for.
the satelite howerver has always been slow.
from the router i get ~270Mbps down and 10Mbps up
from the satelite ~10 to 40Mbps down and 3-5 Mbps up
-i've moved it to different rooms (right now it's in the next room, pretty close)
-i've updated the firmware to the latest on both units
any help would be greatly appreciated
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? One User Experience/Configuration:

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
