Satellite not working with Signal secure text app

I have a CBR40 and and RBS20 satellite. I have two issues:

1. Every hour or so the satellite seems to disconnect from the network and I have to unconnect to the wifi on my pc and then reconnect. At that time it works again.

2. When I use my Signal secure texting app on my ps I get an error "Disconnected. Check your network connection.". The app does not work at all now. This appear to be unrelated to the other issue.

I am at a loss. Any and all help is welcome.

(other note, I cannot even select the RBS20 model from the drop down in the list above. That seems odd that the company does not even list it)
