Satellite slower with fiber
I have and Orbi Mesh AC300 (RBK50) with a satellite. My computer is about 20 ft way from the satellite with a brick fireplace/wall in between. Until yesterday we had decent speed from the satellite. Yesterday we switched from Xfinity broadband (coaxial cable) to i3 Broadband (fiber optic) and throughout most of the house the wifi is strong (250 down/200 up) but where the computer is the signal is suddenly much slower, even on other devices besides the computer it's only about 90 down/45 up. Can anyone think of a reason for this difference

WiFi signal levels are a function only of the WiFi units. Assuming the new fiber connection provides at least as much speed as the previous Xfinity connection, that change should have no effect on WiFi.
WiFi is really sensitive to building materials. Moving the router and/or satellite only a few feet can sometimes make a dramatic difference in signal level. Was anything 'moved' during the change from Xfinity to i3?
What sort of device did i3 install? Is it:
- A simple Optical Network Terminal (ONT - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_interface_device#Optical_network_terminals )?
- A combination ONT/router/ perhaps WiFi?
