Self-signed certificate rejected
I have the same problem.
* Safari simply refuses to connect on IOS and MacOS. No option to ignore the warning.
* On MacOS I can use Chrome or Firefox to ignore the warning.
* On IOS, all browsers are built on Apple Webkit and so none of them will connect. Firefox and Chrome give me the option to ignore, but I get a protocol error.
I confirmed that my Orbi (RBR20) is using TLS1.2 (latest firmware 2.7.5.6). This is considered OK but not great. TLS 1.3 is better. I am wondering if Apple is requiring TLS 1.3, or they just won’t allow self-signed certificates any more.
Note that the Orbi app on IOS works, but I prefer the browser UI for some tasks.

Double-checked and Safari on IOS is not insisting on TLS 1.3. This site (netgear.com) is using TLS 1.2 and works fine. So it seems like Apple is just refusing to allow self-signed certs. The other certificate and connection details look OK: it’s a 2048bit cert, they’re using an AES256 cipher which is considered good.
