Setting up the network map
I have an RBR50 router supporting 2 satelites, 1 RBS50 and 1 RBS20. As I understand it, the RBS20 cannot support daisy-chaining to the RBS50; and this is evidenced by the problem I am having... The two satelites are spaced roughly the same distance from the router, and periodically they will switch to a daisy-chained network map; I assume this is because one satelight has a slightly stronger signal than the other. This is an issue because, when the RBS50 daisy-chains off of the RBS20, the whole system crashes and has to be power cycled.
With this in mind, does anyone know of a way to lock the network map in one format, or tell the one satelite to no longer support daisy-chaining? Any input would be helpful, thank you.
Login to your RBR50 router web interface and click on the Advanced tab. Expand the "Advanced Setup" and click on "Wireless Settings". You can then uncheck the box for "Enable Daisy-Chain Topology" and click the "Apply" button to disable it. The router and satellites may reboot when you change this setting.
