Some error occurred while enabling/disabling remote management

Question

When selecting to enable Remote Management on the orbi app, a message comes up saying “Some error occurred while enabling/disabling remote management”.

Anyone have any ideas?

The attached screen shot is about firmware update, not Remote Management.&nbsp; Can you please post a picture of the error message?

Geez, "some error" is not particularly helpful.&nbsp; This appears not to be the first time someone has run across this.&nbsp; A Google search for that phrase turned up a number of hits, not all of them on the Netgear Orbi.&nbsp; This forum post seems to indicate a solution:https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Firmware-2-2-1-210-remote-management-not-working/m-p/1649177#&nbsp;&nbsp;I am not entirely certain which "reset" this use did (there are two).&nbsp; Just pressing a sharp object (such as an unbeent paperclip) into the tiny "Reset" hole for 1 second will "reset" the Orbi and restart it.&nbsp; A more drastic step is to perform a "Factory Reset":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMw4ePACgc4 This requires you to set it up again, which can be tedious.&nbsp;There is a chance that people who pariticipate in the community forum specifically for the Orbi "app" may have more insight.You might want to post there.https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/bd-p/en-home-orbi-app&nbsp;
