Stalled Wifi - and Slow Speeds

Question

I just recently purchased this RBK50 Orbi System.

I tested the speeds in the house and it has done much better than previous Apple System.

Here's my setup:

House: 3900 Sqft - 2 stories.

Main Router - Downstairs in office bedroom

Sattelite - downstairs by steps in the middle to back of the house (tried upstairs and didn't work well)
Internet Service - Comcast - 100-300MB (wired usually runs at 250MB) - Comcast modem connected directly to Orbi.

Sometimes the WIFI is fast 100MB +. However - 50% of the time the Wifi Stalls - Says it is connected, but literally not getting any speed - even when 10 ft away. Have to disconnect from the wifi - then recconect and then sometimes it works - sometimes not.

Need any help that you guys may know? THought I might need another sattelite, but not really sure.

I've seen that issue. I believe it has something to do with QOS but I cannot quite diagnose it.First what firmware are you on?&nbsp;

Well, I have to say I have not seen it on that firmware. I'd try running speedtest to see what you are getting from various devices. If you are comfortable enough with manual updates I would say try the new 2.1.2.10 firmware - I can only say that it's been stable for the last 24 hours, but cannot say how it would affect you.

If you want to remain on .74 for now, maybe try cold rebooting your routers and satellites using the switch. How long have you been running .74 before you noticed an issue?
