Static Routes to Select Satellite Connection?
Hello everyone.
I have an issue where stationary devices (alexa, ring doorbell, etc) connect to the router whenever I reboot my orbi system. I have to physically power the client device off and then on for it to then connect to a closer satellite.
Is there any way to use the static routes with static ip address to tell specific devices to use the satellite instead of the router?

No there isn't.
This is normal mostly as when the devices see the first working and connectable signal, they will connect it it. Regardless of placement and distance to satellite or router. So in most cases, you'll need to reboot your device after the reboot of the orbi system. I see this with my 1 wireless bridge thats closer to my satellite in the very next room over. I have to reboot it to connect to the satellite.
