This happen very sudden like a week ago. Access was fine before.

Current state:

- 192.168.1.1 not accessible

orbilogin.com not accessible

- https://192.168.1.1 not accessible

http://192.168.1.1:5000/ result in a 404 not found

- ping 102.168.1.1 response CORRECTLY

- internet seems to be fine but a bit unstable.

- power cycled a few times (waited 10 minutes before restarting)

Is there anyway that i could avoid a factory reset, i have like 40 static ip setup that i'd want to avoid setting up again.

  • Lots of people.having this issues now.
Netgear needs to address it without making everyone do a hard reset.
I have 41 devices connected, that's why I paid over 1k for this system, to not have to deal with these issues.

We have to create posts, or else they would just view this as just some normal kind of bugs.

What Orbi model do you have?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

You'll need to factory reset the RBR by pressing the Reset button for 15 seconds then release. Connect a wired PC to the back of the RBR and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser at HTTP and 192.168.1.1 or orbilogin.com and walk thru the setup wizard. Do not attempt to use the orbi app for this. I would disconnect the RBR from the ISP modem/ont temporarily until you get thru the setup wizard.
