Hello,

I am having problem with connecting some devices to my Wifi - (last night found that I could not get my son's Mac to connect to the Wifi)

I am running - Router Firmware Version - V2.1.2.18

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem? Any built in router here by chance?

What OSX version is the Mac using? What Mac is this device? Iphone? Laptop? iMac?

    Try disabling the following:

Beamforming, MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming if seen.

Thank U for responding - I am not technically savvy - is there a limit on number of devices that I can connect - reason I ask is if all the people in my holusehold are using some device we get this problem - so issue is not really with only the Mac(be cause sometimes it connects without any issues) - it even happens when my wife sometimes turns on her Dell Windows laptop or I use my iPad (it feels like if there are quite a few devices I see this problem)

ISP is Spectrum (used to be Time Warner)

      Modem is: Technicolor

      Mac - Macbook Pro

      Mac OS - High Sierra

I dont know where do I go in and disable this:

      Try disabling the following:

Beamforming, MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming if seen

I went into Advanced Wireless Settings and found the following: (should I disable the Daisy Chain Topology)?

        Backhaul Topology

Daisy Chain Topology is check marked

Beamforming, MIMO and Fast Roaming are unchecked
