Virtual MAC Addresses with Repeater

I have an RBK50 system and using an ASUS N66R as a repeater in an out building.   The problem is I would like to assign static IP addresses to the devices hanging off of the repeater. The problem is all of the devices are seen with the same MAC address; the MAC address of the repeater.  I have seen posts about assigning virtual MAC addresses but not sure if that's possible with the Orbi system.

    1. It's the ASUS repeater which can or can't assign virtual MAC addresses, nothing to do with Orbi.
    2. An alternative is, instead of using DHCP address reservation in Orbi is to set static IP addresses in the devices, those addresses should -of course- be chosen to be outside the DHCP address range set in Orbi
    3. Do you have the possibility to run a cable from Orbi to the ASUS and use ASUS in AP mode instead? I think this will give you better visibility of the devices connected to ASUS from Orbi.
