Every model of Orbi satellite is supposed to work with every model of Orbi router, with the possible exception of the very newest RBR10/RBS10 package. The RBW30 is attractive to some people because it can be plugged directly into an electrical outlet, sort of "out of the way." I am not as enthusiastic about the product for the same reason. Electrical plugs are often 15" above the floor and there is likely to be more "stuff" for the radio waves to penetrate than when a device is located on top of furniture. Put it next to a refrigerator or steel filing cabinet, for example, and there will be a huge gap in the radio pattern.
