Wifi Calling and Orbi
Hi,
Anyone having issues with Wifi Calling and Orbi?
What settings definitely work/don’t work/have an impact does anyone know?
Mine is set up as a router and I have bridged my ISP provided router.
It was working fine up until Tuesday.
uPnP is enabled. I rebooted both the ISP router and the Orbi to no avail.
Wifi Calling is enabled on my phone (iPhone XS Max. on latest iOS official firmware version) and worked on a different wifi network outside of the house.
I guess I’m just looking for settings that definitely have an impact on the performance of wifi calling.
Before Furry chips in - not gonna do a factory reset.....!!!!

Check Beamforming, MIMO, Fast Roaming and WMM. Most of these should be enabled, however you'll need to check to see which one maybe effecting WiFi calling.
Also Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Having lots of wifi neighbors near by can me problematic as well. If this had been working before and suddenly not, then this would be something I would look into first before making any changes nor would a reset be needed. :smileytongue:
