WIFI Extender EX2700 connect to ORBI RBR20

Trying to connect the EX2700-100PAS to the ORBI RBR20 router.  The green light "router" is on, but the "device" light is off.  So can't connect to the SSID "X_ext".  1. can anyone tell me if this combination of devices works; 2. What is the best way to set it up, if they are compatible.  Thanks.

    Some EXs may not be compatible. I and a few others couldn't get EX8000 or 7700 to connect. NG updated FW on those models. I would contact NG support to see if this is possible for your model EX.

    RBR20 and EX2700 should work. What is the error message when you try to connect to the extender network? If the router LED is on then the extender is connected to the router. For us to test this, kindly wired a device to the extender and check if it can go online.
