Wifi speeds drop

I have a Orbi RBR50 router with a RBS20 satellite attached.  I have a fiber internet provider at 200+ MPS.  I get good speeds for a few days through the entire house. Every couple of days my Wifi speed with drop for 200+ mps to 30 mps. As soon as i reboot the router speeds are back up to 200+.  The better speeds with last a couple of days and i will do a speed check and find them low again.  Can anyone tell me what may be causing my speeds to fluctuate.

the orbi is a bandsteering router. Meaning devices can switch from the 5ghz to the 2.4ghz. and 2.4ghz is a slow network that suffers from interference. its not going to saturate the 200mbps. That 30mbp is probably more accurate for 2.4ghz as that's what I used to hit with mine in an area with quite a few signals.

So basically I'm stating, when it drops, see if you're connected to the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz. That'll be key as the device might have switched from 5ghz, to the 2.4ghz.

Have you tried changing what channel the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz are on?

Thats what I thought was happening also but I checked the connections and they were connected to 5g.  My current settings for 2.4 is Auto and the 5g is set to 48.  I don’t know much about channel selection. Can you help

usually for 2.4ghz you want channels 1-6-11.

The 5ghz, just try changing to a different channel and see what happens the next time it slows down
