Will Orbi will work with Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router
Will Orbi will work with Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router AC1900 R7000 as a mesh network?
No, Orbi and satellite(s) is a star topology, not a mesh.
One Orbi Router and One R7000 would not be mesh, at best it would be R7000 (router) ---> ethernet cable ---> Orbi (in AP mode).
Any Satellites added to the Orbi Router (in AP mode or Router mode) are star topology only and only communicate wirelessly with the Orbi Router. No wired communication with upstream controlling/managing devices possible.
You cannot add a Orbi Satellite as an extender to a R7000.
