Wireless speed loss: what's normal?
I would like to know more about what to expect from speed loss to wireless devices. On the Orbi admin, speed tests for download run between 50-60 mbps, but the best I can test from a wireless device is just over 10mbps even if I am a foot away from the Orbi router.
My setup.
Verizon modem/router >Orbi Router set up in AP mode
+ 1Orbi satellite
Firmware V2.1.1.16
I originally had Orbi in router mode, but switched to AP to avoid the double NAT issue. That seemed to improve speed a little bit, but still quite a loss to the wireless. Is this normal? If not, what else can I check or diagnose?

Have you tried to enable beamforming and mumimo? Also have you adjusted the wireless channels on the router?

Yes, I have now enabled both beamforming and MUMI and has improved dramatically. I need to check wireless channels next. What is the best practice for channels for router+orbiAccessPoint+orbisatellite?
