Yet another Bricked Orbi issue

Hi all, I'm hoping you all can help me out. I'm working on a friend's RBR50 router that recently stopped working. It may have been a power surge that bricked it, but we're not sure if it was bricked previous to us shutting down power to it's circuit accidentally.

Symptoms:

1. No SSID broadcast
2. Wired connection to PC shows "network cable unplugged" even if set to static IP
3. Cannot factory reset with either the normal or 30-30-30 method

4. No lights illuminated on top ring
5. Power light is green and never changes when attempting to factory reset.

I attempted to connect to it via TFTP, but get no signs of a connection via the static IP I set up. TFTPD64 just sits indefinitely after clicking put.

I also tried connecting his router to the power cable from my RBR50 just to eliminate any possibility of power supply being bad, no change.

Any advice for me? I'm not sure where to go from here or if there are any useful options for me.

Thanks in advance.

    It sounds like dead.

My own experience with TFTP was frustrating.  It appears there is a brief window of time after applying power when the router is able to accept TFTP connections.  After that, it has "moved on."  One time it took me 5-6 attempts to hit the "sweet spot" and see that graphic of the file being transferred.

(not that TFTP is guaranteed revive this box. But it was a lot trickier than I expected.)

Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW.
I had a problem on a Windows 10 PC where this didn't work to use TFTP, so I switched to a WIndows 7 PC and the TFTP worked.

    did you try nmrpflash?
Some had luck with that when tftp didn't work
