4G LTE Broadband Router that works with Verizon Sim (US)
Hi, I currently have a Verizon MiFi Hotspot but because it goes offline frequently and does not automatic power back on, ally I am looking for a Netgear broadband Router that someon KNOWS will work with the MiFi sim card. I do not have a hardpoint internet connection at the locations so I have been using Mifi. I looked at the Netgear 4GE LTE Modem (LM1200) but this device does not have Wifi, I could add a router but it seems more logical to use a Broadband Router if there is one that will work. Any feedback from someone with the same experience would be most appreciated. I am not opposed to changing providers but my Verizon plan has unlimited data.

I was able to get the LM1200 added to my VZW plan as a hot spot under the $20/mo unlimited option. I recommend purchasing the device, DO NOT OPEN, enter the IMEI into your add device on the website. VZW should recognize and confirm compatibility. If so, you can swap your SIM card and you should be up and running in 5-10 mins.
I have noticed that as VZW continues to rollout 5G, that 4g only devices are getting throttled back. When I set my iPhone 12 to 4g only data I get speeds of only ~20mg, on the LM1200 I get between 4 - 10mg max... just so you know.

As for WiFi, the LM1200 is designed to be a "wired" device much like a cable modem. You must use the LAN port to rj45 plug directly into a WiFi router (WAN) or your laptop/PC.
