AC785 One Click Firmware update doesn't work

Question

I can't get the One Click Firmware update utility to work. It runs, says it's connecting, downloading firmware and flashing successfully, but the firmware doesn't actually get upgraded. I don't believe it is actually downloading any firmware, as that step takes just a fraction of a second and I see no firmware file in the AppData\Loca\Temp\FDT folder where the rest of the installer gets extracted to. I've tried while my PC is on WiFI and a wired Ethernet connection, but neither work. The previous firmware update is a monolithic file (doesn't try to download the latest update on the fly), and that works fine.

Teh dirver and firmware update files were downloaded from here: http://netgear.com/support/product/ac785.aspx#download , but unfortunately there are no dates to know how recent they are.

I received an OTA firmware update which seems to have fixed the issue. Not sure if that was something you initiated, but it's working now, thank you!
