Have you looked on the TP link router to see if there is a access point mode on the router? If not you will need to disable the DHCP on the TP link

I am having issues with my dc113a as well. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago to use with my Netgear AC791l. When I put the hotspot in the cradle, it will charge; however, the ethernet port is not working properly. Only the amber light on the back of the DC113a is blinking and the speed coming from the ethernet port is SLOW. What am I doing wrong?
I have the AC790S with the DC113A.
There is an "ip-passthrough mode" selection on the AC which will output the public ip through the lan port of the DC113A.
You plug the lan cable coming out of the DC113A into your main router's Wan port.
Select DHCP on the main router Wan port.
Make sure to set the AC and the main router to different IP adresses, for example 192.168.1.1 for the AC router, and 192.168.2.1 for the main router.
You must ensure DHCP is enabled for the main router's lan clients so they can receive a private ip.
Using the above settings disables NAT on the AC router and is rock solid!
