Aircard 781s cradle
I'm using this aircard as my primary home internet, since nothing else is offered. I have it plugged into an ASUS RT-AC66U router with WRT Merlin version 3.80.(I forget). I have the USB setup as my primary WAN link and 2 WLAN's setup on 2.4 and 5G. Both networks have intermittent connectivity to the internet (google search on IE or chrome displays nothing on the page) and nothing shows up in the system logs on my ASUS router when it stops connecting. I've tried to trouble shoot this for a while by upgrading or down grading the ASUS firmware and eventually went to open source code.
Nothing seems to work so I thought to get the signal boosting cradle and plug the ethernet port on the back of it into the WAN port on my router and somehow disable the the 2.4 and 5G Wlans on the hotspot. (I trust that the ASUS wireless coverage would be better, plus I like my ASUS router). The problem with all of this is that this cradle is discontinued and I cannot buy it anywhere. Does anyone know if A) where I can buy the DC113A signal booster cradle or B) if there are any new cradle's out there that are backwards compatible with the Aircard 781s ATT Unite Pro and where I can buy them?
My goal is to use the hotspot as the WAN connection and use my ASUS router for the wireless networks.
Thanks in advance.

Hello jworth12
Like you said this cradle is EOL you just have to search Ebay or amazon for one of these.

Do you know if the DC112A would work with the Aircard 781s Unite Pro Hotspot? Searching for this has been a nightmare. Netgear doesnt list the 781s as a compatible device but other articles state 78xs will work with the DC112A.

Hello jworth12
At this time, we have two cradle products available in the market, DC112A and DC113A. Neither of these products are currently available in NORTH AMERICA.
DC112A is available in Australia, Middle East and Europe via various ISPs and online retailers. This device is not compatible with mobile hotspots in North America.
DC113A is a retail product available in Europe via Amazon. It has been tested with some NA devices as it’s a retail product so customers can use it in North America. Compatible list can be found in the FAQ here: https://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26864
We have had instances where customers in North America have been advised to purchase DC112A from Australia. We cannot guarantee that their hotspot will be compatible with the DC112A as it has not been officially tested or certified.
