AirCard 785S how to perform driver update using a PC under MacOS/also how to solve battery charging

Hi,

A couple of years ago I bought the Netgear 785S. I did use it for a year and it worked allright.

Then I put it in a drawer and only yesterday picked it up again.

I have bought a new SIM-card, together with a DATA-bundle and installed it in the AC.

The SIM is recognized and network-info is displayed on the AC [network, signal strenghth..]

The issues I now have are:

- the battery doesn't seem to charge although I use the proper Netgear adapter: the AC display shows a red plug symbol in the top

right corner: is the battery corrupt? [I have used a number of different cables with the adapter, the result is the same

As long as I keep the device powered, I can key in things like the access code.

- the Air Card is not recognized in the Netgear Mobile app, both on iphone and on iPad. Message reads like: Incorrect WiFi Mobile

Router [Sorry, this Mobile Router is not supported by the NETGEAR Mobile App].

I have installed the Netger Mobile app from the Apple appstore and according to the info supplied this app shoudl supprt the

AirCard 785S. So that should not be a problem.

I found that there are new drivers for the AirCard - however the driver-files seem to be only usable on a PC using Windows whereas I

have an iMac - is there a solution so that Mac-users can also download these drivers and install them on the AC785S?

And: if I install these drivers, will the AirCard Mobile app recognize the AirCard 785S again or could there be another problem

   preventing this?

    Sorry guys,  RTFM

    Battery is probably corrupt;

Updates have been installed, after connecting device to iPad the Netgear Mobile app recognized the device.

    So, SOLVED!
