Please refer to the Downloads and Documentation page to manually upgrade your 785S: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25067
Under "Software", download the driver and software listed.
Under "Documentation", follow the instructions in the Firmware Upgrade Procedure: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/aircard/AC_785S_Telstra/FW_Upgrade_Procedure_AirCard%20785S.PDF

I just want to tell you that you're a moderator for NETGEAR and you're giving wrong instructions. I've downloaded the same firmware and it's not working because the device is a RETAIL UNLOCKED. So please stop confusing people.
