Aircard 785s won't work without external antenna

Question

I have an Aircard 785s running on O2 UK, after using an external antenna it now won't get a signal without it being plugged in. I have reset it and reinstalled the latest firmware but it still won't work.

I have looked around on the forum and on the internet but can't seem to find any answers.

Model - AC785-1

Firmwear - NTG9X25A_02.14.04.13

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've seen reports of it on some of the M6 devices but not the 785

thanks for the replay, i have had a look around the forum but cant seem to find any answers. could you point me in the right direction and I might be able to apply the same fix to this
