AirCard 790 does not worke since the last update...

Since the last update my AirCard 790 does not work anymore. It tries to start approximately 10 times while it shows the typical start screen "NETGEAR AirCard" that I know from normal operation. After this the AirCard 790 gives up and the status LED flashes constant alternating blue and orange for some minutes. After this AirCard 790 tries to start 10 times again and so on... 

 

Where is the problem and how can I solve it? I did not interrupt the update or the the power during the update. According to the progress indicator the update was finished. After this the problem begun...

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

     

    Kindly remove the battery and SIM card, wait for a minute or two then re-insert the SIM card and battery. Then check if it will completely start up the device.

      screen locked on the purple startup  blue light on and will not change

    We haven't released any update for AC790 for a long time. What is your device's SKU?
