“This type of unit is engineered / customized based on the needs of an Internet Service Provider and can only be obtained through them. This means that the support including the replacement / return should be handled through the Internet Service Provider which the product was obtained.”
so in short, netgear will not support the 815s. Basically F-off and talk to At&t

AT&T has finally admitted they know they have a problem with this device. However don't hold your breath since they also stated they do not plan to do a thing to fix it. So you have Netgear telling you to pound sand and go to AT&T who also tells you to pound sand.
Recommendation - Don't buy any further NetGear equipment!

You've probably already done this, but check your 815S/Unite Explore system software as the most recent version fixed it for me on all three of mine.
