C7100V goes down once a week
Just to preface, I try to be tech savvy but have no experience with networking. Assume I have no base knowledge and explain like I'm five.
I have a Netgear C7100V modem/router running firmware V2.0...

My C7100V has been going off network several times a week since June 28 and have tried countless solutions - drop amp, splitter removal, etc - nothing worked. Even had the red power light adventure which prompted Netgear to replace it. After this morning's failure, I was on my way to the Xfinity store to rent an XB6 when I noticed the firmware updated to 2.01.37 - Hoping this solves the problem.
