Can I hide my password on a Nighthawk M1 router?

Hi

I've just set up a Nighthawk M1 router for my parents and was wondering if there is any way to hide the password that appears on the digital display to stop grandkids being able to log onto the internet??

Thankyou

    Hello Justyw

Sorry no option for that but a good suggestion I will bring this up with the engineers.

Thanks for your reply. You really need to be able to hide the password as anybody can just pick up the device and there is the network name and password on the home screen.....

  • Why yes, yes you can, here's how:

Log into you router's setup menu (http://m.home/), log in, Go To: Setup, then Wireless, then scroll down to Global Wireless Setting and UN-check the "Display Info on LCD".
    Done.
