Can't get VPN to work on ASUS router with my MR1100...need setup help
I need to set up a VPN to my office. I have an ASUS RT-AX55 router and I went through the OpenVPN setup. I then Installed openVPN on on my iphone and imported the file. When I am IN my office connected to the wifi, the VPN connected and works as expected. When I turn off my wifi and am using 5G, I cannot connect to my VPN.
My MR1100 Nighthawk is plugged into my ASUS router. So we are clear, ALL devices access the internet are plugged into or wifi connected to the ASUS router. I suspect there is some config I need to do on the Nighthawk, but I cannot begin to fathom what that would be. Perhaps Port forwarding but I cannot make it work. Any help is appreciated.

Is the MR1100 in passthrough mode?
Otherwise your in a double nat with runningt he mr1100 and the asus
Do you mean IP PASSTHROUGH?
IP PASSTHROUGH is DISABLED but VPN PASSTHROUGH is ENABLED.
try setting up ip passthrough on the MR1100
Or put your Asus's ip address into the MR1100's dmz.
