connecting aircard 810s to aircard cradle
When i plug my aircard 810s into the aircard cradle it says "wifi hotspot inactive while using wifi dock" as soon as i take it out of the dock it works fine. Any idea how to get it working while on th...
Hey Ben. The way this works is that when you seperate the WiFi hotspot from the cradle, it acts independently. When you plug it into the cradle, it will cease as a "hotspot" and merge with the cradle so as to act as a router. This is perfectly normal operation for this unit.
In order to get the cradle working as a rounter, you should try to access the web-interface by opening a browser (eg. Chrome) and put this into the address bar: http://m.home/index.html
This will bring up the "Genie" interface by which you can control hte hotspot or the cradle as you wish. There is a hyperlink in the left bottom side of this page that says"Smart Cradle Manage". Click on this to see the Cradle settings. If you do not click on this, you will only be seing the hotspot settings (that is on the first page you get when you enter the http://m.home/index.html into the browser.
