Well you are using 2 routers, it's unusual.
Keep your MR1100 in router mode, but your R7800 needs to be set to "Acces Point mode".
See manual page 73:

i did not know i could change the R7800 to be an access point, thanks for the document. the m1100 does not send out a strong signal outside my home, that is where the R7800 works better. first of all i had the R7800 connected to the LB1120 modem, then i heard about the M1100 has better service, and it does, also i can disconnect it from the R7800 for traveling. thanks for your help.
