Data usage unavailable message for months
Hi,
I have a Telstra Nighthawk II and have had the "Data usage info currently unavailable at this time" message displayed for at least the past three months!
I have restarted the modem with no change.
Screen shot attached. If I try to manually check for any firmware updates I get an "Update Error - There was a problem updating your device. Try again later" message.
Any help gratefully accepted!

What's that? (Not a Netgear model number.) Is it a mobile modem/router?
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.- Retired_Member
Hi PhilA750
I see from your screenshot that you have a Nighthawk MR2100. The data usage info issue you describe is also affecting other Telstra customers.
The three links below may provide the comfort of knowing "it's not me, or my device" but the lack of meaningful response from Telstra does not show a fix anytime soon.
If you have a Telstra Id you can keep track of your usage with the My Telstra app. It appears to be the only way at present.
NightHawk-M2-is-not-showing-data-usage/m-p/2232160#M21845 - This thread shows the same firmware version as yours; NTGX24_10.19.03.00, so it is likely up to date. My device is the MR1100 with its latest firmware from 2019.
