DC112A WAN IP Passthrough / Bridge Mode

Is there a way to set a passthrough/bridge mode for the WAN connection so that it just passes the public IP to the LAN side? This is for the Netgear Smart Cradle DC112A.

So from the non-replies I guess it really isn't possible. So the question then is, is there some kind of technical limitation from allowing this to happen? Or is this more just product segmentation (i.e. a business decision)?
